Food Handling Certificate- HAMILTON

This FREE accredited food handling certificate provides the skills and qualifications to be able to work in a range of Hospitality and Retail jobs, as well as fulfil requirements for other activities, such as volunteering with sporting clubs.
The Use hygienic Practices for Food Safety (SITXFSA001) certificate covers.
· Obligations of food handlers (Food Act 1984) and Food Safety Programs
· Learn how to prevent cross-contamination
· Symptoms & effects of food poisoning
· Reducing the risk of food-borne illness (food poisoning)
· HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point and Pest control measures
This course is FULLY subsidised and open to young people aged 14-25 years by FUSE South West through the VicHealth Big Connect funding.
Participants will be required to bring a laptop / device.
